Design & Construction

As the most important aspect of the design was the integration between the indoor / outdoor living spaces as well as the ability to entertain the design became all about the alfresco. The alfresco is located centrally with the living spaces of the home wrapping around it creating a seamless flow between the indoor / outdoor living areas as well as giving the alfresco extra privacy and protection for all year round entertaining.

The client also decided to forgo the separate lounge / home theatre and instead opted for a multipurpose 'entertainment room' at the rear of the house with direct access to alfresco. This is perfect for the growing family as currently this room can act as a toddler playroom as it is still visible from the main living area. Eventually this will be turned into a games room as the children get older, creating the perfect entertaining space.

Other features of the home include a timber lined alfresco, stacker doors to the alfresco, high ceilings and rendered brick to the elevation.
