Summit Projects was approached by a corporate property group to design and construct a multiple dwelling complex for their development site in Secret Harbour. Surrounded by three roads and opposite a shopping centre, this mixed use ‘Development’ zoned land was a prime location for a Multiple Dwelling proposal, which the client intended to incorporate into their extensive housing portfolio.
Although it was designated as a mixed use site, the land was located adjacent to a row of established cottage lots, so it was with this in mind that the design was formulated to give the front elevation of the development the appearance of two storey townhouses, so as to be in harmony with the established streetscape.
All undercover parking, common stairs, storerooms and rubbish collection occurs to the rear of the development, and with additional street visitors parking available and accessible to the development, the multiple dwelling development proposal has no impact on the established neighbourhood.
Summit Projects achieved all planning and building licence approvals and delivered a multiple dwelling development in compliance with all necessary Class 2 requirements.
